Eco-Friendly Grout Cleaner

Professional companies can charge $50 per room up to 200 square feet to clean tile grout! These grout cleaners can be toxic for your health. Buying grout cleaner can be expensive and affect your health as well. Save yourself the money by doing it yourself the natural way. It’s safe for you,your family and the environment! Did I mention it’s CHEAP!!

Here is how:

Work a 2 x 2 foot section at a time. Pour a little bit of distilled white vinegar (do not dilute with water) on the grout. Cover grout completely and let it sit for 5 minutes. After time has elapsed, either use a grout brush that you can purchase at your local hardware store or an old toothbrush works just fine. The dirt and built up grime comes off so easily! Simply wipe with a wet rag and your done! Finish the rest of the floor. Allow to dry for 2 hours and follow with an eco-friendly sealer. Safe for children who crawl on the floor and pets.

Don’t throw away your old toothbrushes. They are great cleaning tools for around and behind a faucet, the bottom hinges of the toilet, shower door crevices, cleaning tile grout and much more!

Remove Odor from a Room (including cigarette smoke)

Mix one part water with one part white distilled vinegar. Use an old clean towel and dip into the mixture. Wring out the towel thoroughly. Twirl the damp towel over your head several times to deodorize and the smell of smoke will disappear!
