Security Measures

We work hard to build your trust in Heaven Scent by hiring the best qualified consultants that love what they do and are committed to our vision and purpose as a company. We enforce strict measures when hiring new employees by:

Conducting pre-employment screening and reference checks
Background checks
Multi-level interviews
Personality testing
Each employee is bonded

Keys

Please ensure our cleaning team has access to your home on cleaning day. Most of our customers provide us with a key. Customers’ keys are kept secured and are not attached to any identifying information (name, address, etc.).

If you can’t be home to let the cleaning team in, we have several secure options available. We are happy to work with you on an individual basis.

Security Alarms

If your home is equipped with an alarm system, please be sure it is in an off or unarmed position prior to our arrival.

Payment/Billing

Payment is due on the day of service. We accept payments by checks, cash or credit card (3% transaction fee will be added for credit cards). A receipt will be provided.

Monthly billing can be arranged once you become a regular client. If this would be beneficial to your situation, please contact our office.

Extra Work

Our cleaning teams follow our standard cleaning checklist and specific guidelines on your individual worksheet. Please let us know at least 48 hours in advance for any additional changes.

Supplies and Equipment

Valuables

To avoid accidents, it would be helpful to secure valuables, collectibles, etc. We limit our liability for breakage to a maximum of $100. If you have breakable items or significantly greater value items, we ask that you secure them or allow us to clean them accepting our limited liability.

Policy Concerning Damages in Client’s Home or Business

In instances of alleged damage to the belongings of our clients, we request immediate notification after such occurrences so that we may make a determination as to our responsibility for said damage.

If it is determined that we are responsible, Heaven Scent must inspect the damages and obtain an estimate of the cost of repair or replacement. The client, of course, will have the right to obtain their own estimate. After responsibility has been determined and estimates obtained, we will see that the necessary action is taken to restore the loss in accordance with the policy of our insurance carrier.

Please be advised that Heaven Scent will not accept hand-written notes nor receipts, either paid or unpaid, as the basis for issuing credit memos, crediting accounts or making payments for damaged or broken items.

Safety Policy

Employee safety is important to us. We require our employees to wear shoes at all times, refrain from climbing ladders higher than 30″, and lifting objects weighing more than 20 pounds. We do not clean bodily fluids, pet accidents or any other substance which may pose a health or safety hazard to our employees. Heaven Scent reserves the right to remove an employee from a job site at any time if safety is of concern or if integrity is in question.

Satisfaction Guarantee

If our cleaning is not met with your 100% satisfaction, please contact our office within 24 hours at 209-261-0044. We will be happy to come back and correct the problem.

At Heaven Scent we provide all the cleaning equipment and cleaning products to service your home or office with the exception of trash bags and toilet brushes . This adds up to considerable savings to you!

Cancellation and Non-Entry Policy

If you must reschedule to skip a service, we will gladly do so with a 48 hour notice. Anything less than 48 hours notice of your scheduled appointment will be charged a $45 per scheduled cleaner cancellation fee to compensate the missed opportunity to fill the open slot with another job. Cancellation fee must be paid prior to next scheduled cleaning. Any appointments cancelled less than 24 hours of the scheduled start time will be charged the full amount of the cleaning.

If we are unable to enter the home upon arrival, a $45 lockout fee will be assessed for each cleaner to cover expenses. During holiday weekends the fee will be $65.
